City of Cambridge Bowmen World Record Status Double 720 Tournament
Saturday 15 th May 2027 and Sunday 16 th May 2027
The City of Cambridge Bowmen, in their 75th Year as a club, are proud to
host a ‘double’ World Record Status Double WA720 tournament annually in
May.
Dates for 2027 are the 15th & 16th May.
ENTRIES OPEN 8:30am on Sunday 1st November 2026

Rounds to include 70m for recurve and longbow, 60m for 50+ and Under
18s, and 50m for compound and barebow.
Categories are Open and Female.
Each day is a separate Double 720 event. The entry fee is £22 for each day.
This year each archer will receive a small memento to celebrate our club’s
75th anniversary.

Rounds available
Double WA720 70m, 60m, and 50m for Recurve, Longbow, and Barebow on
full 122cm faces.
Double WA720 50m for Compound on individual 80cm 6-ring faces.

Timings
Assembly 8:45am – Practice 9:00 – 9:45am – Start 9:45am
Entry fee is £22 per day. Payment via Eventbrite only.
Four Archers per boss. Arrows will be shot in ends of 6 in 4 minutes, 2
details, controlled by Danage timing system.
AGB dress regulation 307 rule will apply.
Awards
Medals will be awarded each day to archers shooting age-appropriate
rounds based on the number of entries in each category. WA Target
awards will be available on Saturday and Sunday.
Arrows
This is a multi-use sports field and all arrows must be found. Therefore lost
arrows must be reported to a judge or a member of the field party.
Registration
All archers are required to register upon arrival to confirm their target
allocation in case of any late alterations. Proof of AGB membership will be
required for registration. Please ensure you can provide this offline.
Drug testing
Record status shoots are liable for Drug Testing. Any competitor
approached to give samples for testing MUST comply. Refusal will be
treated as a positive result. Parents/Guardians must sign the relevant
form available at the registration desk giving consent for junior archers to
be tested if approached.
Refreshments
Hot/cold food and drinks will be available throughout the weekend, from
7:30am each day. This will include bacon rolls for breakfast, jacket
potatoes for lunch, homemade cakes throughout the day, as well as tea,
coffee, cold drinks and snacks.
Catering will be cash only. Please bring a mug for hot drinks.
Photographs
In accordance with the Archery GB Protection of Children and Vulnerable
Adults Policy, if you wish to take photos/video you will need to sign the
registration form when registering at the start of the shoot.
No raffle.
Scores eligible for National Rankings.
Closing date
The closing date for entries is Saturday 8th May 2027 or when full. No refunds after the closing date.
City of Cambridge Bowmen, Downing College, their staff, volunteers,
members, or managers, cannot take any responsibility for injury or any loss
from, or damage to, any vehicle or equipment, howsoever caused.

When you enter competitions, the data captured and the uses of the data is
specified in the Archery GB Standard Administrative Procedures. The data
includes, but is not limited to, First Name, Surname, Category, Bow style,
Date of Birth / Age category, Email, Address, Phone number, Club (and ID),
County (and ID), Region (and ID), Round (unless defined by age), Disabled
(Y/N), Disability info. The uses of the entry data include publication of
target lists, results sheet and the submission of data for ranking purposes.
The data may be shared with Archery GB, tournament organisers, scoring
systems and other competitors. We will also use this to contact you about
the event the following year.
