East Anglian Archery Championships

Did you know there was an East Anglian Archery Association- we didn’t. Turns out there is and their annual championship shoot took place at Framlingham Bowmen on Sunday 18th.

It was one of those English summer days where we had all weathers, hot sun, high wind and torrential rain. However it was a good day and a friendly informal shoot. CCB were represented by Lydia Sinnett-Smith who battled the elements to win the Ladies Compound and a magnificent trophy.

I made myself useful by stopping the tent from blowing away!

Don’t forget to send in your tournament news to club secretary.

The ‘sun’ part of the day

Judges well prepared for rain

Now that’s a proper trophy.
